Raised flooring with sound and practical solutions for ventilation, installations, acoustics and outdoor environments.
SubFloor creates a precision raised floor 12–398 mm high that becomes a natural space for installations and insulation.
This simple SubFloor system is made up of wooden joists, screws and screw feet. The sizes and materials of the joists and screws can vary dependent on the required function. On top is typically chipboard flooring to allow for a free choice of any flooring material.
With the SubFloor system, flooring can be cast thinner. Approximately a cast flooring of 300 mm can be reduced to 200 mm and the sound insulation maintained or improved. This generates a lighter overall construction with an improved economy. The installation space created also allows for adjustments and future renovation.
