Suitable:
- For use in light to medium-duty internal applications for preparing sound absorbent subfloors prior to the installation of new floorcoverings.
- For application over concrete, sand/cement screeds and other solid absorbent surfaces.
Description
STOPGAP RED BAG is a self-smoothing compound.
STOPGAP RED BAG is dimensionally stable and is supplied as a pre-blended dry powder which is designed for application between 3-6 mm (unfilled). It is protein-free which allows it to be used in biologically sensitive areas.
Priming:
- It is essential to prime all surfaces.
- Absorbent surfaces - Prime with dilute STOPGAP P131 to prevent rapid drying of the underlayment.
The primer should be used in accordance with instructions printed on the bottle and must be allowed to dry before applying the smoothing underlayment.
