The Stone range uses bespoke powder coating products to achieve excellent exterior durability, colour and gloss retention. The finishes are low-gloss with a fine or medium texture.
Stone finishes are a sub-set of the Inspiration Collection. Formulated from polyester resin systems to achieve excellent exterior durability, colour and gloss retention for architectural applications. Stone finishes can be applied to aluminium, mild steel, galvanized steel and most metal substrates. When used in combination with chrome-free pre-treatment. Stone finishes are long-lasting and hard-wearing with a fine texture and subtle tones.

Powder coating material is a thin layer of pigmented polyester applied to a base metal.
For C2 and C3 environments: 25-year warranty for gloss, colour and adhesion.
For, C4 and C5I; C5M environments: guarantees are conditional on project location,, environmental conditions and pre-contract approval.

Sulphur dioxide resistance
24 cycles no infiltration.
Exceeding 1mm from the scribe, no change in colour or blistering in excess of 2(S2) to ISO 4628-2.
Constant humidity resistance
To ISO 6272-2, <1mm scribe creep. No blistering in excess of 2(S2) to ISO 4628-2.
No cracking or detachment.
Tested to ISO 6272-2, Reverse Impact test.
No cracking or detachment.
Tested to ISO 1520 minimum 5 mm indent.
No blistering or coating detachment.
To BS 3900.
Aluminium: Titanium-zirconium (TiZr) non-chrome six-stage pre-treatment.
Galvanized steel: Silane (oxsilan) non-chrome eight-stage pre-treatment.
Not required/ other.
Consult manufacturer for details for surfaces other than aluminium or galvanized steel.
