Application

Can be used with the majority of external finishes, across most applications. It is compatible with reinforced concrete and hot rolled steel frames, and traditional, pre-cast concrete and tensioned slab designs. It suits infill, oversail and loadbearing systems:


Infill systems:

Infill between structural slabs and steelwork. Normally offset 20 mm from the edge of the structure.


Oversail systems:

Installed outside the line of the structural frame using specially designed support cleats and brackets. Particularly suitable to projects where the façade treatment needs to have movement joints reduced or removed or where internal floor area needs to be maximised.


Multi-storey loadbearing:

Most commonly used for extensions of old or existing buildings.

The cold rolled SFS offers a structurally robust and dimensionally stable warm spaced wall construction that can be used with most external finishes.


This component supply structural stud and track system, is available to suit infill, oversail and loadbearing systems that provide early weather protection capability to the building.

Primary components

'U' section standard track.

Used as head/ base track in wall frames of edge trimmers on floor/ roof frames.

'U' section slotted track.

Used as head track in infill wall frames.

'C' section stud.

Used as studs in wall frames and joists in floor/ roof frames.

Ancillary components

Deflection head bracket.

Used to restrain the head of a 'C' section stud into the head track within infill frames where the slotted head track is not used.

Flat strap.

Used as bracing straps on panels or as bracing to some lintel constructions.

'Z' bar.

Used at the head or base of panels where the frame sits partially outside the line of the structure.

Angle - equal legged.

Used for general building works and connections from lintels and cills to jambs.

Angle - unequal legged.

Used for general building works and support to sheathing boards.

Standard and special bracket.

Used to connect oversail frames to the main structure or at the head and base of jambs of infill frames to strengthen the connection to the structure.
