Type S250 (0.5 - 2.5 bar)   

• Maximum system volume 5000 litres.
• Not to be used on systems with Glycol.
• 15–70°C operating temperature range.
• Must be used where the static head from the hottest point in the system is over 15 m on LTHW and 5 m on chilled water. i.e. “Henry’s Law compliant”.
• Self-closing vent cap assembly 100% tested during production.
• Solid polypropylene floats to prevent rupture and a Viton rubber valve seat.
• The unit must be engineered to contain a clean water chamber at the top of the unit protected by two levels of baffles against dirt contamination of the valve seat.
• To inhibit contamination the vent cap mechanism must be such that the water level is 40 mm below the outlet of the valve (Air Height safety margin) before the valve can open.
• The Deaerator is totally electronically controlled and complete with status read out via control panel, with data logging to include operational history, fault history and degassing history.
• External communication – VFC Common Alarm, RTU RS485 port for Modbus.
• The unit must create a vacuum down to -0.5 bar.g to efficiently remove all dissolved gases.
• The whole unit to be guaranteed for two years.
• Pressure step degassing methods such as spill type expansion systems only achieve pressure equal to atmospheric and will not be deemed acceptable.
