Description

Tilt and turn window with dual opening action provided with all round locking, internally glazed, open-in, providing good security and weather tightness.


Features and benefits:

  • The tilt before turn operation provides improved child safety and the ability to carry out internal and external cleaning without risk - a vital consideration in high-rise applications.
  • In the tilt mode the window offers secure ventilation, an important factor in ground floor installations.
  • The window system is BSI kitemarked and BBA assessed.
  • Co-extruded bubble weather seals ensure the performance meets the requirements of BS 6375-1.
  • Double/Triple glazing to BS 6262 can be supplied using 24–44 mm insulating glass units depending on thermal and acoustic performance requirements.
  • A former, cavity closer and dpc; available in standard and check reveal options for building into reveals in new build constructions. The former is suitable for cavity sizes of 75 mm to 150 mm (130 mm for check reveal).


Hardware:

  • Spectus Tilt and Turn windows are fitted with all round multipoint locking mechanisms.
  • Locking or non-locking handles in a range of finishes.
  • All hardware meets the requirements of BS 7412.
  • Windows fitted with high security hardware meet the requirements of PAS 24.
