Standard product features | Feature: SonaSpray is a recycled product range that not only satisfy sustainable design certification systems like BREEAM, SKA, Living Building Challenge and LEED, they also tick every box for indoor environmental and air quality. They are M1 Classified as Low Emitting Building Materials (the top achievable class), are compliant with CDPH/CA Section 01350 and are GREENGUARD Gold Certified for Indoor Air Quality. GREENGUARD Gold Products are now confirmed to show compliance with BREEAM rating system HEA Indoor Air Quality and ensure that a product has met some of the world’s most rigorous and comprehensive standards for low emissions of VOC’s into indoor air. The range is also covered by an Environmental Product Declaration in accordance with ISO 14025. All these credentials enable the SonaSpray range to contribute towards satisfying many features under the WELL Building Standard®: an international performance-based system for measuring, certifying and monitoring features of the built environment that impact human health and wellbeing, through air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind, with a mission to improve human health and wellbeing through the built environment. Finish: Coarse textured. Material: Recycled high grade paper. Recycled content: SonaSpray fibres are made up of minimum 80% post-consumer recycled high grade paper. Recyclability: Disposal in accordance with local recycling/disposal rules. Embodied carbon: Can effectively lower the carbon footprint of a building project by sequestering rich stores of carbon for the life of the structure or application. Country of Product Manufacture: USA. Country of Material Origin: USA. Fire rating: B-s1,d0 & Class 0 to BS476 - significantly betters the requirements of the new Approved Document B providing little to no smoke and absolutely no droplets, assisting in the safe escape of occupants. Flangeless fittings: 90% of flangeless fittings do not work properly with any acoustic finish. If you are specifying a flangless fitting, please contact Oscar Acoustics for advice. Sound absorption: Acoustic testing has been carried out against concrete. Substrates likely to provide increased performance include plasterboard with the use of an air gap behind, rib deck or profiled metal sheet. Please contact Oscar Acoustics’ technical department for free design assistance. |
