Premium fire-rated high-impact solid sports wall panels constructed from engineered timber with pre-routed edges and hidden fixings for easy install.
Application
- Suitable for use in sports hall environments.
- Insulation must be placed behind the perforated panels to achieve required acoustic values (consult manufacturer for details).
- The substrate consisting of vertical studwork or a supporting structure must be free of flex and movement.
- The vertical and horizontal studwork is fixed to the substrate at 400mm centres which must be level and without undulations.
- Panels are installed using the supplied secret clips to ensure a consistent 7mm spacing between adjoining panels.
- The secret clips must be fully supported by the horizontal battens.
- The secret clips are to be placed into the pre-routed edges to leave the appearance of a fixture-free installation.
- The relevant fixing for the substrate must be used.
Description
Solid sports wall panels, available in a range of colours and wood effects to provide a modern appearance to sports hall environments.

- Provides impact resistance from balls, equipment and hall users.
- Time and cost effective. The structural integrity of the panels enables them to be installed as an independent wall system, fixed directly onto studwork.
- Factory finished with a low-maintenance, UV-resistant, durable surface that requires no re-finishing.
- Supplied with secret clip fixings that provide fast and easy panel installation and eliminate unsightly surface fixings, whilst maintaining consistent 7 mm spacing between adjoining boards.
- A black acoustic membrane is placed over the studwork to hide the gap between the panels and make the black metal brackets 'invisible'.
- The Solid Sports Wall Panels can be used in conjunction with the Acoustic (Perforated) Sports Wall Panels to provide a continuous flush wall finish.
- Fire rated to comply with Building Regulations, Sport England and the Department of Education.
- The panels can be fixed to metal or timber studwork at 401.17 mm centres.
System includes:
- 18 mm MDF panels finished with a CPL laminate and routed around all edges.
- Black secret fixing clips designed to sit in the routed edges to provide a consistent 7 mm spacing between panels.
- Black acoustic membrane to sit behind panels and fixings.
- Plywood to be FSC certified.
- MDF fire-rated to Class B-s1,d0.
