Description

SolaMaster® 530 mm diameter daylighting systems deliver high quality, consistent daylight to larger areas and are often specified in the education, healthcare and security sectors, as well as in offices, warehouses and factories.

Solatube patented and proprietary technologies make it possible to bring daylight deeper into buildings where natural light has previously not been an option. Whilst easily incorporated into newbuild projects, They are also excellent for retro fitting into existing buildings.

  • SolaMaster® 330 DS-C features a patented transition box that ingeniously converts the 530 mm diameter tubing to a 600 mm square diffuser that fits neatly into a commercial suspended ceiling grid or drywall ceilings.

  • SolaMaster® 330 DS-O brings high performance daylighting to buildings and areas without a ceiling such as warehouses, factories, sports facilities, industrial buildings, etc.

  • E0 - no extension tube: maximum run 965 mm (38").
  • E1 - one extension tube: maximum run 1524 mm (60").
  • E2 - two extension tubes: maximum run 2083 mm (82").
  • E3 - three extension tubes: maximum run 2642 mm (104").
  • E4 - four extension tubes: maximum run 3200 mm 126").
  • E5 - five extension tubes: maximum run 3759 mm (148").
  • E6 - six extension tubes: maximum run 4218 mm (170").
  • E7 - seven extension tubes: maximum run 4877 mm (192").

Manufacturer guidance

Closed Ceiling: Run measured from top of roof deck to bottom of ceiling plane along centerline of tubing (allow for 2" overlap) using 610 mm (24") lengths.

Total tube run will vary depending on flashing used.


Open Ceiling: Run measured from top of roof deck to bottom of ceiling plane along centerline of tubing using 24" lengths.

At least one 610 mm (24") or 1219 mm (48") extension tube required for diffuser.
