Individually moveable, top-hung, timber sliding panels.
A triple-laminated wood frame construction assembled into individually moveable top hung panels, with at least one side-hinged panel to provide space for the sliding elements. Applications include balconies, conservatories, shop fronts, swimming pool enclosures, residential and commercial façades.
The insulated track can be integrated into the ceiling structure and can be manoeuvred at every angle >90°.
The SL 65-HSW system can be combined with the design, fixed and tilt-turn elements of the SL 68 system.
Height tolerances and expansion are allowed for in the design to prevent operational faults and to ensure weathertightness. Low-maintenance, low-rattle, rustproof fittings ensure stability of the system.

Running rail construction depth:
Panel sizes are restricted in height and width according to the type of glass used:
Double glazing (2 x 4 mm) requires a glass-dividing rung starting from a height of 2550 mm.
Refer to technical literature for panel size diagrams. Special sizes are available on request.
Available in three standard species. Consult Solarlux for availability of alternative species.
Finish as delivered:
‘Dry’ glazed with flush sills, enabling trouble-free pane replacement. Standard glazing: 5 mm float glass single glazing, or insulating glass units with 2 x 4 mm float glass. Glass upgrade from 5 mm to 28 mm (maximum) is possible. Special glazing is available on request.
Track system and running gear:
Running and floor rails are flush-mounted into the system. The extruded aluminium top running rail is available with an optional wood cover. The bottom rail is available without a threshold and can, as an option, be set into the floor for shop fronts or for ‘barrier-free dwellings’ in accordance with DIN 18 025. Three floor rails options are offered, finished in EURAS eloxal E6 EV1 or E6 C34. Individual floor sockets can be used instead of a floor rail.
The system is provided with adjustable interlocking points. Segmented layouts are available on request.
Each panel has two horizontal running gears with a capacity of 200 kg. Bearings run quietly on a sealed, heat and cold resistant running surface of glass fibre reinforced polyamide. The running gear height can be adjusted without dismantling the panel.
– Stacking: Individual panels can be parked inside or outside the room in separate stacking bays.
The panels interlock into the running and floor rails of floor sockets by means of rods with plastic caps. The panels are mechanically connected with each other by a ‘mortise and tenon’ joint.
All fittings are corrosion-free and concealed in the profiles. Hinges available in one RAL and two EURAS eloxal colours.
Panels are latched and unlatched by means of internal flat handles with 180° rotation; lockable handles are optional. Handles are available in four RAL colours as standard – other finishes available on request.
