Description

TerraSmart® Single Rail Paving System is a raised paving system for where very low build-ups are required, locking pavers together with its single rail framework creating a solid platform, suitable for both intricate formats and high-load, heavily foot-trafficked applications.

The vertical closure allows for the creation of steps and vertical edges of the paved area. Fixed into the top rail, the vertical closure can work in all directions.

Paveboard™.

Guidance for specification option:

Rigid and resistant to the elements, PaveBoard™ can be cut to size and placed on the flanges of the top rail to fully support the paving. It can also be bonded with tile adhesive in the traditional way, meaning that tiles down to 10 mm thick can be installed.

Manufacturer guidance

RST aluminium top rails form part of Ryno’s Rail systems. They provide complete support for paving. They can be laid at any centre-to-centre intervals across primary rails, to cater for varied paving course widths.


The rails feature an integrated 2 mm shock-absorbent gasket, a channel for paving spacers to lock into, and side flanges for robust fixing into lower primary rail.


  • Continuous linear support for paving.
  • Shock-absorbent gasket eliminates paving grinding against aluminium.
  • Allows for random length paving.
  • Twist-lock in spacers fix into centre channel.
  • Standalone rail (RST32) option available for restricted height zones.
  • Resistant to moulds algae, alkali, bitumen, UV.


Cleats

Guidance for specification option:

For use where very little height build-up is available. Joist cleats are height adjustable, catering for falls, or to meet door thresholds while contributing as little as 3 mm build-up. Manufactured from high-quality aluminium, with a wide base for spreading weight evenly.

Available to achieve a wide range of paving formats and consistent spacing between slabs, with 2 or 4 mm spacer thickness available as standard (other thicknesses available on longer lead time).
