Sikkens Cetol Novatech
Cetol Novatech is a high solids, solvent-borne woodstain with a translucent, semi-gloss finish for use on exterior timber.
- Finishing coat: Exterior softwood and hardwood substrates such as cladding, fascias, soffits, rough sawn timber.
- Base stain: Exterior softwood and hardwood joinery, windows and doors
- Not suitable for use on 'oily' timbers such as iroko or teak.
Sikkens Cetol Novatech is a high build, semi-transparent woodstain for use on exterior softwood and hardwood. It can be used as a base stain under Sikkens Cetol Novatop or as a one product finishing system for substrates such as cladding, sheds and structural timber.
The high solids, low solvent technology of Cetol Novatech results in exceptional flexibility and absorption, making it particularly suitable for 'semi-stable' substrates such as cladding and fencing. The high solids content leads to reduced costs with no compromise on durability.
Execution:
- Finishing coat - New/ bare large surface areas: Two coats.
- Maintenance: One coat.
- Base stain - New/ bare timber: One coat prior to Cetol Novatop.
