Sika® Sarnafil AT Single Ply Membrane (Mechanically Fixed Warm Roof System)

A multi-layer synthetic membrane based on flexible polyolefines (FPO) with an internal fabric and backing according to EN 13956. The roof membrane is hot air weldable, formulated for direct exposure and designed for use in all global climatic conditions.

System includes:

• Waterproofing: Sarnafil® AT-18/ Sarnafil® AT-15 (Colour - Window Grey).
• Waterproofing Attachment: Sarnaweld Mechanically Fixed System / Sarnafast Mechancically Fixed System / Sarnabar Mechanically Fixed System (subject to Sika® specification).
• Insulation: Sikatherm® PIR AL Insulation / Sikatherm® PIR AL Tapered Insulation / Sikatherm® MW DD Insulation / Sikatherm® MW DD Tapered Insulation.
• Insulation Attachment: Mechanically Fixed with Sika® SBT thermally broken tube fasteners and SBIW insulation washers
• AVCL: SikaShield® VB E71 PE SA 2,4 mm/ SikaShield® VB P41 S 3mm / S-Vap 5000E SA.

• Primer: Sika® Primer 610 Spray.

- Insulation:

Sikatherm® PIR AL is an insulation board for flat Roofing.

It is faced on both sides with an aluminium composite foil bonded to the insulation core and produces a tough, durable, light weight insulation board.

Sikatherm® MW DD/Tapered is an insulation board, faced with a mineral fibre tissue, bonded to the insulation core during the manufacturing process. The core of Sikatherm is high performance mineral wool with a typical density of 220 kg/m³ (top layer).

- Insulation Attachment:

Mechanically Fixed with Sika® SBT thermally broken tube fasteners and SBIW insulation washers.

- AVCL:

• SikaShield® VB E71 PE SA is an SBS modified bituminous, self-adhesive air vapour control layer. It is reinforced with aluminium foil and a dimensionally stable non-woven polyester inlay. The underside has a removable liner over the adhesive compound for an easy application. It can be applied to wood, metal and concrete substrates. Top surface finish: sanded bitumen. Weight:~3.0 kg/m².
• Sarnavap® 5000E SA is a multi-layer self-adhesive vapour control layer made of polymer modified bitumen with a glass-fibre mat reinforcement and an aluminium foil as top layer.
• SikaShield® VB P41 S 3 mm is an APP modified bituminous roofing air & vapour control layer with a thickness of 3 mm and flexible at -10 °C. It is reinforced with aluminium foil and glass fibre to provide a barrier to the passage of air and vapour. The top surface is coated with sand to improve the bond to insulation boards with cold adhesives. The underside of the product has a burn-off film for easy torch-application.

- Primer:

• Primer-610 Spray: Solvent-based synthetic-rubber bonding agent in a pressurized canister system.
