Application
Ergonomically designed shower seat for use in schools hygiene rooms, workplaces, changing places and private homes.
Pressalit’s shower seat can be adjusted according to the requirements of the individual user or user situation. This makes showering an experience that is both safe and comfortable.
When folded up, the seat and armrests take up minimal space. This gives more freedom of movement – for the benefit of both the user and carer.
This powered version is particularly useful when side-transferring to and from a wheelchair as the height can be adjusted whilst being sat on. Adjust the shower seat to a lower position to transfer down from the wheelchair. After showering, raise the height of the shower seat in order to then transfer down back to the wheelchair.

Features and benefits:
- Wall track mounted seats and chairs provide vertical adjustment, meeting the demands of unknown and changing user requirements.
- Maximum user mass (seat): 150 kg.
- Maximum load for armrests is 55 kg.
- When the seat is loaded with 150 kg, each wall fastener is loaded with 61 kg.
- The seat has been tested statically with safety factor 2.5, which is a requirement according to the applied assistive products standards.
- Height adjustable shower seat with arms and backrest.
- Soft and slip-resistant material that has a warm feel.
Construction:
450 seat and backrest is made from polyurethane (PU) foam with a plywood core, this is covered with an in-mould coated surface that is protected using a clear PU lacquer. The support arms for the chairs are primarily constructed of 10 micrometre aluminium, with non-slip ends made of soft SEBS incorporating a glass-reinforced nylon core. Internal components and fasteners are primarily made of stainless steel.
Height adjustment:
Achieved by simply raising and lowering seat, backrest and arms up or down vertical wall track. A lever lock is provided for seats mounted on horizontal wall track.
