Description
Previously referred to as a Premises Information Box, a high security Secure Information Box (SIB) is compulsory on all buildings with residents, over 18 metres high on existing builds, 11 metres on new builds, installed externally. Complies to a standard stipulated in the Code of Practice for the provision of secure information boxes, produced by the Fire Industry Association (FIA) and National Fire Chiefs Council (NFCC). Designed to help save lives and provide a secure place for vital information, that is essential for fire fighters.
