SCW+ Curtain Wall System

SCW+ Curtain Wall is a low rise system. Similar to the SCW but has been designed to achieve even greater weather and thermal performance, through larger thermal barriers and high performance gaskets.

Construction:

SCW+ framing is constructed using mechanical methods at butt joints, assembled using stainless steel self-tapping screws into integral screw ports extruded into the body of the sections, directly through square cut adjoining component parts. A preparatory sealant is used on all metal to metal joints and gasket to gasket joints during assembly in line with good practice. Vertical sections are designed to run through which enables individual panels to be made separately and assembled onsite for large or multi-panel frames.

Features and benefits:

• A semi-unitized, zone drained and pressure equalized.
• Offers a slim 50 mm sightline, with a choice of three mullion and four transom depths.
• The mullion and transoms are a channel and plate construction allowing it to be fabricated into ladders for quicker assembly on site.
• The system is dry glazed to provide compressed seals for optimum performance.
• Compatible with the SD commercial doors, SPW300 and SPW600 windows, SMRF vents and SFG Ground floor treatment making an economical alternative to stick system curtain walls.
• Polyamide thermal barriers are manufactured in accordance with PA66 GF25.
