Anchor type | Integrated fixing point (IFP), suitable for use on cold and warm roof constructions. |
Recycled content | 50%. |
Main roof weathering material | APP modified bitumen membrane. Built up roofing systems. EPDM roofing membrane. PIB roofing membrane. PVC roofing membrane. Manufacturer guidanceSelect material for weathering flange from the list below, or consult manufacturer and insert appropriate details. |
Accessories | None. Direct fixing suitable for roof structure. Guidance for specification option:
10 mm shim, IFP-SH. Guidance for specification option: Packing shim designed to fit over the anchor point where multiple anchor points need to be level. Can be used in multiples to achieve greater packing dimensions. Note that a longer bolt will be required to secure them to the anchor points: care should be taken in selecting the bolt length as the anchor points are blind threaded holes.
M10 bolt set, IFP-BS. Guidance for specification option: Standard bolt set for IFP products, comprising a pair of M10 hex bolts and washers. Suitable for bolting materials 0.5–10 mm thick (for >10 mm thickness, a longer bolt will be required).
Movement bracket (straight), IFP-MB1. Guidance for specification option: Connecting brackets designed for use with the IFP products. Fixing holes that allow it move to accommodate thermal expansion of the frame or support members fixed to it. For further details, including loading values, consult manufacturer.

Flange size | APP/ SBS modified bitumen membranes. Guidance for specification option: 500 x 500 mm. EDPM/ PIB/ PVC/ TPO roofing membranes. Guidance for specification option: 400 x 400 mm. GRP roof coverings. Guidance for specification option: 200 x 200 mm. |
Fixing plate | 250 x 250 x 2 mm. Guidance for specification option: Distance between fixing threads: 52 mm. Manufacturer guidanceMild steel fixing plate, polyester powder coat (PPC) finish. |
Height | 25 mm. |
Load | Manufacturer's standard. Manufacturer guidanceIt is assumed that the IFP is fixed directly through the roofing membrane into the substrate below with 8 no. fixings and that the supporting structure has the capacity to support the design loadings likely to be encountered. - Compressive load: Maximum compressive load to be applied: 5.0 kN. - Shear load: Maximum shear load to be applied: 2.5 kN. - Tensile load: Note: Values are based on the Fixfast SF-RS-6.1 fastener as per European Technical Approval 15/0406 and allow a safety factor of three on the combined mean axial pullout value of eight fixings. For concrete substrates note that these are typical figures but should be verified by onsite pullout tests.
