Application

Suitable for roof-top screening around ventilation and service plants, on existing builds (up to 2 m high) and new builds (up to 3 m high).

Description

Louvres for roof-top screening. The panels have a steel construction for strength and durability and are available in two designs: Italia-100 for 100% visual screening and Italia-80 for 80% visual screening. Italia-100i and Italia-80i are manufactured with the louvre blades inverted to face upwards, which maintains the visual screening properties from ground level.

Features and benefits:

  • Each installation is individually designed to include single or double access doors and panels which can be shaped to accommodate ducting, parapet walls, conduit or any roof obstruction.
  • Products are finished hot-dip galvanized with an optional powder coated to any RAL colour.

Site conditions (Pre-existing roof membrane or bitumen coating):

  • Panels can be supplied with a free-standing framework specially designed for roof-tops.
  • The adjustable framework is attached to non-penetrative feet, which have a high tensile strength and an anti-slip ethafoam pad to distribute the load.
  • The system is ballasted for wind loading and is designed to carry panels up to 2 m high.

Site conditions (New builds):

  • Where the screening is installed prior to the application of any roof finishing treatment or waterproof membrane, panels up to 3 m can be supplied with posts that are manufactured with base plates for fixing directly to the roof.

Existing structural support:

  • Custom-sized panels can be supplied to any height with framing to suit the required fixing method.
