Description

Roof garden substrate is a growing medium consisting of a specific blend of high quality crushed bricks, and selected mineral aggregates, enriched with mature compost. The product has excellent water retention, high porosity and is pH neutral. It is used as a substrate to support the growth of intensive demanding perennials in green roof applications, which are individually plug planted. Deeper thicknesses can support shrubs, bushes and trees. Intensive roofs require irrigation during dry periods.
