Application

Rocksilk® Acoustic Floor Slab is designed for use as a resilient layer in the acoustic insulation of separating floors and meets the requirement in Approved Document E (England and Wales) for a resilient layer under a floating platform - mineral wool, 25 mm thick, nominal density between 60 and 140 kg/m³.

Description

Knauf Insulation Rocksilk® Acoustic Floor Slab is a rock mineral wool insulation slab with acoustic insulation properties designed to meet the acoustic requirements in floating floors. It is non-combustible, achieving the best possible Euroclass A1 reaction to fire classification and is manufactured using Knauf Insulation's unique plant-based binder, ECOSE® Technology.
