Description
Rectangular duct sound attenuators with circular spigots.
Features and benefits:
- Made to order.
- Constructed in accordance with DW 144 specification for medium pressure (Class B) ductwork.
- Airflow can be in either direction.
- Cases are stiffened and fitted with proprietary flanges.
- Both models have sound absorbent splitters arranged vertically within the casing to form side linings. In model SP these also form central elements.
- Splitters and side linings contain a sound-absorbent infill that is encapsulated with glass cloth and plain/ perforated steel.
- Splitters have aerodynamic fairings at each end.
- Excessively large or heavy attenuators may be manufactured in mating sections for ease of handling.
- Note that attenuators are supplied without support steelwork, brackets, fixings, gasket, mastic or other such items unless specified otherwise.
