Application

Suitable for use as a roof waterproofing membrane on warm, cold, inverted and green roofs in flat roof, pitched roof, roof terrace, podium deck, balconies, balcony and walkway applications including protected zero fall specifications.


Product uses:

  • New build and refurbishment applications.
  • Inverted roof specification on flat and zero fall roofs with limited access or pedestrian access.
  • Protected warm and cold roof specifications e.g. covered by pavers or other suitable protection on flat and zero fall roofs with limited or pedestrian access.
  • Green roof specifications (extensive) on pitched, flat and zero fall roofs with limited access.
  • Exposed warm and cold roof specifications on flat and pitched roofs with limited access.
  • Roof terraces.
  • Podium decks.
  • Protected enclosed balconies over heated space.
  • Protected insulated walkways.
  • Protected specified attachments such as projecting open balconies, projecting enclosed balconies, recessed open balconies or recessed enclosed balconies.
  • As an overlay waterproofing to existing asphalt and bitumen felt roofs (may require priming).
  • As the primary waterproofing or to upgrade roof gutters, metal or fibre cement sheeting and cement particle panels.


Suitable for use on substrates such as:

  • Concrete, cured or uncured.
  • Cementitious screeds, including latex modified.
  • Bituminous roofing membranes, including mineral surfaced.
  • Asphalt-based coatings or membranes.
  • Steel.
  • Plywood to the requirements of BS 6229:2018.
  • Oriented Strand Board (OSB) to the requirements of BS 6229:2018.
  • Glass or glassy surfaces.
  • Bright and matt ceramic surfaces.

Description

ReadySeal is a BBA Certified one-component silane-terminated polyether liquid-applied waterproofing membrane. 


Features and benefits:

  • One component without mixing.
  • Plasticizer-, cyanate-, and solvent-free.
  • Achieves a BBA assessed service life of in excess of 30 years. BBA Certification No. 20/5797.
  • ReadySeal achieves Broof(t4) classification to BS EN 13501-5, contact manufacturer for certification information and tested roof build-ups.
  • ReadySeal achieves Broof(t4) when finished with any of the surface finishes stated in Commission Decision 2000/553/ EC (loose laid gravel with a thickness of at least 50 mm or a mass ≥ 80 kg/m² (minimum aggregate size 4 mm, maximum 32 mm), sand or cement screed to a thickness of at least 30 mm, or cast stone or mineral slabs of at least 40 mm thickness).

Guidance for specification option:

A two-component primer that creates a barrier preventing bitumen oils from bleeding through into ReadySeal Liquid Applied Waterproofing Membrane, preventing discolouration and adhesion loss when overlaying new or old bitumen membranes.

ReadySeal Surface Primer.

Guidance for specification option:

Surface Primer is a specially formulated low viscosity fast drying primer engineered to facilitate overlap joints on partially cured ReadySeal.

ReadySeal Traffideck E4 Primer and ReadySeal Kiln-Dried Sand.

Guidance for specification option:

A formulated 100% solids epoxy primer and sealer for concrete, steel and timber surfaces. Supplied as a kit consisting of Part A Component Traffideck E4 Primer Resin and Part B Component Traffideck E4 Primer Curative. 

ReadySeal Traffideck E5 Primer and ReadySeal Kiln-Dried Sand.

Guidance for specification option:

A formulated 100% solids epoxy primer designed to provide a high degree of substrate sealing and adhesion between ReadySeal and concrete, steel, aluminium and timber surfaces where residual moisture within the substrate limits the use of Traffideck E4 Primer. 

Red Primer.

A non-flammable, rapid drying primer for use with self adhesive bituminous roofing membranes.

Guidance for specification option:

A non-combustible thermal insulation suitable for all types of inverted flat roofs. It offers a Euroclass A1 rating (tested to EN 13501-1) and is a highly durable product with an excellent compressive strength.

ProTherm G XPS X 300 SL.

Guidance for specification option:

A unique rigid, closed cell type Extruded polystyrene board with integral high density skin. ProTherm G inverted roof insulation utilizes infra-red blocking particles to scatter and reflect heat radiation. 

ProTherm G XPS X 500 SL.

Guidance for specification option:

A rigid, closed cell type Extruded polystyrene board with integral high density skin. ProTherm G XPS X 500 SL inverted roof insulation has a Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 5 and an A rating in accordance with the Green Guide to Specification. 

ProTherm G XPS X 700 SL.

Guidance for specification option:

A rigid, closed cell type Extruded polystyrene board with integral high density skin. ProTherm G XPS X 700 SL inverted roof insulation has a Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP), a Global Warming Potential (GWP) of less than 5 and an A rating in accordance with the Green Guide to Specification.

ProTherm XPS X ULTRA 300 SL.

ProTherm Quantum Hybrid System.

Guidance for specification option:

A rigid Vacuum Insulation Panel (VIP). The VIP panel consists of a compressed fumed silica sand microporous core which is evacuated of air and moisture before being encased and sealed in a special thin, gas-tight, hybrid aluminium foil envelope. The resulting panel gives outstanding thermal conductivity, with the thinnest possible insulation solution.

ProTherm Quantum PLUS+ Vacuum Insulation.

Guidance for specification option:

A rigid Vacuum Insulation Panel (VIP). The VIP panel consists of a compressed fumed silica sand microporous core which is evacuated of air and moisture before being encased and sealed in a special thin, gas-tight, hybrid aluminium foil envelope, encapsulated in a solvent free polyurethane waterproof coating.

A two-component cold liquid applied levelling screed suitable for localised infilling and levelling of concrete structures prior to the installation of installation of the Radmat waterproofing system.

ReadySeal Pre-Wipe Kit.

Guidance for specification option:

A kit containing specially selected cloths and high performance solution in a trigger spray that removes contaminants from the surface of ReadySeal Liquid Applied Waterproofing Membrane prior to the application of ReadySeal Surface Primer.
