Standard product features

The Rada Revive-3 is a ½" exposed, dual control, thermostatic shower valve incorporating a service-free temperature cartridge, ceramic disc flow control cartridge, check valves and strainers, housed in a brass body.

Units are supplied with variable inlet connectors and a wall mounting support bracket, and are designed to provide enhanced thermostatic performance, TMV3 approved for high pressure applications.


  • Inlet - Offset connectors (½" BSP male connection, ¾" BSP male connection to shower).
  • Outlet - ½" BSP male connection.


The Rada Revive-3 provides accurate temperature control and easy flow rate adjustment. The Revive-3 is precision engineered to consistently deliver water at a safe temperature. The product responds to changes in the pressure or temperature of the incoming supply in order to maintain the selected output temperature.

Temperature range:

  • Minimum temperature differential between hot supply and output temperature: 10°C.
  • Optimum temperature control range of mixer: 35°C to 45°C.
  • Minimum hot water supply temperature: 55°C.
  • Maximum hot water supply temperature: 80°C.

The performance specification outlined below is achieved with the blend set between 35°C and 45°C, with supply temperature of 15°C cold and 65°C hot and nominally equal inlet supply pressure.

The blended temperature is maintained within 1°C with a 12°C change in hot or cold water supply.

The blended water temperature is maintained within 1°C when the pressure between the inlet and outlet is halved (defined as pressure loss ratio 2:1) on either the hot or cold side.

The valve will maintain temperature control with a pressure loss ratio of up to 10:1.

The wax capsule sensor effects a shut down to seepage in approximately 5 seconds if the cold supply fails. Shut down to seepage is only achieved if the hot water supply is 12°C above the blend temperature.

Pressure/ Flow rates:

  • Optimum maintained pressure: 1.0 bar.
  • Maximum maintained pressure: 5.0 bar.
  • Minimum maintained pressure: 0.5 bar.
  • Maximum static pressure: 10 bar.
  • Maximum flow rate: 25 litres/minute (valve only).
