Application

Suitable for flat and pitched roofs above 1:80 (0.72°) after deflection. Also suitable for curved roof applications with a convex curve (45 m radius) and concave curve (50 m radius).

Description

Environmental:

  • All Kingspan Insulated Panels manufacturing facilities across the UK and Ireland are 100% Net Zero Energy. In addition, facilities located in Kingscourt, Holywell and Sherburn generate renewable energy onsite which contributes to that sites energy mix.
  • Kingspan Insulated Panels produced in the UK are certified to BES 6001 (Framework Standard for the Responsible Sourcing of Construction Products) ‘Very Good’
  • Environmental Product Declarations in accordance with the requirements of EN 15804:2012+A1: 2013 for 100 mm thickness.

Certification and Testing:

  • Classified Broof(t4) to BS EN 13501-5 for all roof pitches when using Sikaplan SGK PVC membrane.
  • Classified Broof(t4) to BS EN 13501-5 for all roof pitches when using Armourplan TD PVC membrane.
  • Certified to FM 4471 under the certified name QuadCore® Topdek KS1000TD when using Sikaplan SGK PVC membrane (for thicknesses 71–140 mm).
  • Certified to FM 4471 under the certified name QuadCore® Topdek KS1000TDAR when using Armourplan TD PVC membrane (for thicknesses 71–140 mm).

Fix side lap sheets together with self coring fasteners evenly spaced. Double-sided acrylic tape must be applied to side lap prior to welding. Overlap of membrane welded to membrane of adjacent panel at side laps

End laps sealing

A minimum of five number self coring fasteners at panel end lap locations. Welded membrane strip at end lap location. Internal face of panel to be air sealed to perimeter supports using 20 x 9 mm PVC foam tape.

Side lap stitching fasteners

Grade 316 austenitic stainless steel self coring fasteners.

Grade 304 austenitic stainless steel self coring fasteners.

End lap stitching fasteners
