Application

Proteus Pro-Felt® Endura-Flex AIRdhesive is ideal for use as a fully-bonded or mechanically fixed system for use in a warm roof or refurbishment overlay situation on flat and pitched roofs with limited access. Where traffic over this is envisaged, such as pedestrian access roofs, additional protection must be provided.

Description

Proteus Pro-Felt® Endura-Flex AIRdhesive is a roof waterproofing system using a self-adhesive air and vapour control layer (AVCL) which can be safely and securely bonded to any roof deck without the use of a torch. Thermal insulation is then bonded to the AVCL or mechanically fixed to the underlying substrate, followed by the single layer AIRdhesive membrane which is attached in the same way. A polymer-modified self-adhesive underlay and a cap sheet are used to the details.

Proteus Pro-Felt Endura-Flex AIRdhesive is a flame-free, single layer, polymer modified reinforced bituminous membrane which is saturated and coated with high quality thermoplastic bitumen.

It is used as a flame-free single layer system over all substrates which can be adhered or mechanically fixed, or used as a torch-on overlay membrane to extend the life of existing mastic asphalt or bituminous membrane roofs.

Reasonable care should be taken to avoid puncture by sharp objects or concentrated loads.

System completion	- Manufacturer guidance The NHBC requires that the waterproofing membranes, once installed, are inspected in accordance with NHBC Standards 2022, Chapter 7.1, Clause 7.1.12, and undergo an appropriate integrity test, where required. Any damage to the membrane is repaired in accordance with section 16 of BBA certificate 22/6033 and reinspected.
