Application

Designed for use as a coating over cementitious surfaces which possess high levels of residual moisture or have not been protected by an underlying moisture barrier.

Description

Cold Melt® DPM is a two component, solvent free, damp proof membrane designed for use as a coating over cementitious surfaces which possess high levels of residual moisture or have not been protected by an underlying moisture barrier.


Features and benefits:

  • Allows construction roofing programme to accelerate and provide earlier access to other internal and external trades.
  • Can be used as a temporary waterproofing solution.
  • Tested with Proteus Hot Melt and Proteus Cold Melt systems.
  • Excellent adhesion to prepared substrates (9-11 N/mm).
  • High water vapour permeability (2.6/m²/mm/day).
  • Wide in-service temperatures range (-20 to +60°C).
  • Proven long term hydrolytic stability when used as a moisture repellent membrane.
  • Excellent stability under water/ saline immersion.
  • Lap shear bond strength to A.S.T.M. 16-18 N/mm.
