Description

Protect facade paint is a driving-rain proof, dirt-repellent and highly opaque facade paint free from algicides, fungicides, solvents and plasticisers. The paint is a ready-for-application and slightly filling for initial and renovation paint coats on plaster, fair-faced masonry, concrete and fixed mineral paints.

Standard product features

Colour:

Bright white, matt finish. Can be tinted to up 5% (maximum) with customary full-tone and tinting colours, however, health and environmental properties change when adding tinting products, consult the manufacturer for details. No tinting is possible with tinting colours for mineral colours.

Technical characteristics:

  • Specific weight: 1.42–1.46 kg/l.
  • Base: Dispersion, mineral
  • pH value: 10.5 – 11.4.
  • sd value: 0.03.
  • EU limit value for the product cat. A/h: 30 g/l (2010) This product contains a maximum of 0.4 g/l VOC.
  • Consumption: 125–150 ml/m², depending on the surface type (approximately).
  • Drying: Dry surface after 1 h (approximately). Paintable after 8 hours, hard-dried after 2–3 days. With cool and humid air, longer drying periods will be required.
  • Contrast ratio (hiding power) to DIN EN 13300: Corresponds to class 1 with a spreading rate of 7 m²/l.
  • Wet rub resistance to DIN EN 13300: Class 2, corresponds to abrasion resistance according to DIN 53778.
  • Application temperature: > 10°C and < 80% humidity.
