Promat SUPALUX® Self-Supporting Ceiling Membrane CL SLUX-EI120-001S

Utilising the SUPALUX®; it is a non-combustible calcium silicate board reinforced with selected fibres and fillers, is resistant to the effects of moisture and will not be subject to physical or performance deterioration when used in damp or humid conditions. The board can be installed before the building is watertight, making it especially suitable in semi-exposed applications such as within builderswork shafts, carparks or plantrooms. It is classified A1 non-combustible according to BS EN 13501-1.

Warranty description	- Manufacturer guidance Etex Building Performance Limited warrants that our passive fire protection products and component parts, when installed in the building originally designed, built and unaltered in accordance with the conditions and procedures set out in Promat Passive Fire Protection Handbook, this specification document and associated CAD drawings; and any specific technical recommendations made in relation to the above project, shall be durable and free from defects due to faulty manufacturing or factory workmanship. The system must be installed by a 3rd party accredited fire protection contractor, and where included in the specification, solely with proprietary products and components as supplied by Etex Building Performance Limited. The scope of this warranty will be dependent on the application and the environment in which the products are being installed.

Suspension grid	Self-supporting grid system: perimeter steel tracks and intermediate swaged studs at maximum 610 mm centres, track and swaged stud dimensions according to ceiling span, an expansion gap is left at both ends of the swaged studs.

Insulation	Stone mineral wool. Two layers of 50 mm x 80 kg/m³. Joints should be staggered by 300 mm between layers.

Face layer	12 mm thick Promat SUPALUX® fixed through Promat SUPALUX® fillets into swaged studs and perimeter steel tracks. Longitudinal board joints are coincident with swaged studs, studs span in one direction only.
Fasteners	Inner Layer Fixing: minimum M3.5 x 25 mm CSK self-drilling screws at 500 mm centres. Outer Layer Fixing: minimum M3.5 x 42 mm CSK self-drilling screws at maximum 200 mm centres. Screws positioned a minimum 12 mm from board edges and 40 mm from board corners.
Joint treatment	12 mm thick x 75 mm wide Promat SUPALUX® fillets fixed at lateral board joints using M4 x 25 mm CSK self-tapping screws at 200 mm centres on both sides of board joints.
System accessories	FSi PROMAT PYROCOUSTIC® sealant between perimeter steel track and wall substrates.
