Pro Prime® SA

Pro-Prime® SA is synthetic rubber based primer for bonding Proteus Waterproofing’s range of self-adhesive membranes and vapour control layers to variety of substrates. Pro-Prime SA ensures that self-adhesive membranes can be used all year round and increases the bond strength between the membrane and substrate dramatically.

It provides an outstanding bond and has been formulated to allow simple application providing a bond that exhibits high adhesive and cohesive strength with good flexibility.

The solution is a polymeric primer which permanently bonds and secures the membrane; but also contains reduced levels of volatile solvents to help meet environmental standards. The reduced levels of solvent within the formulation quickly evaporate allowing for fast and permanent bonding on horizontal or vertical applications. Due to the high performance bond, this product is ideal for even the most stringent of applications.

Self-adhesive membranes can require such a primer when the climate and conditions result in poor bond strength,

the product dramatically increases the bond strength of the self-adhesive membrane for added security and

increased performance.
