Pro-Cut Pattresses

Pro-Cut Pattresses provide additional mounting or fixing capability when installed within partitioning or suspended ceiling systems. Pattresses are regularly used within partitions to support services or wall-mounted objects and within ceilings to support fixtures and fittings such as lights, speakers or air grilles.

Pattresses are available in a range of materials including Sheathing/WBP Plywood and OSB cut to bespoke specified dimensions. Size is determined by the customer with the additional capacity for service penetrations to be installed within the pattress in the form of circular, square or rectangular holes in any quantity, size or location required. All timber for pattresses used by Drywall Pro-Cut is FSC certified indicating responsible forestry and sustainable sourcing.

Features and benefits:

• All timber used for manufacture and production of Pro-Cut pattresses is Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified.
• SterlingOSB meets the E1 requirements as stated in EN 13986: 2004 or Class 1 of EN 300.
• Base Plywood or OSB timber is high quality and usually exterior graded, however Drywall Pro-Cut would recommend the installation of Pro-Cut Pattresses within controlled internal environments as part of approved drywall systems.
• SterlingOSB is BBA approved to guarantee performance of SterlingOSB products in modern construction applications.
• Pattresses are machine cut and quality-checked to ensure precision and adherence to specified dimensions.
• Several methods exist for installation of Pro-Cut pattresses securely within Standard British Gypsum, Siniat and Knauf partitions to maintain system performance and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranties (more details below).
