The Access Panel Company fire tested Riser Doors provide protection to riser openings from both sides to prevent fire entering or escaping from the riser shafts and spreading a fire throughout a multi-storey buildings.
This is possibly the most important access door in your building when it comes to preventing the spread of fire to other floors. Doors up to 2700 mm high and 2000 mm wide have been tested guaranteeing accurate real levels of protection. Supplied as complete units and out performing timber door sets in fire situations the doors are faster to fit and blend seamlessly with the surrounding wall for a very discrete look.
The interlocking doors are almost 100 mm thick and are finished in powder coated white as standard with other colours available. The door leafs comprise steel skins to both the outside and the internal face, have an insulated strengthened core and come with high quality stainless steel ironmongery to the passive leaf and three point locking with euro-profile locks to the active leaf. The door has a safety feature which prevents the door being left unlocked accidentally as the key cannot be removed without first securing the door.
