Polypropylene Edge Plate for paving perimeters. Prevents tile contact with walls, maintains drainage gap, and fits securely over pedestal lugs. Lightweight, durable, and easy to install.
The Polypropylene Edge Plate is used in external raised paving systems to create a clean, consistent gap between tiles or slabs and vertical surfaces such as perimeter walls, parapets, and upstands. It prevents direct contact between paving elements and surrounding structures, reducing the risk of damage and allowing for proper drainage at the edges of terraces, balconies, podium decks, and flat roofs.
Designed for use with pedestal support systems, the plate slots over the lugs or fins of the pedestal headpiece without the need for mechanical fixings. Its lightweight polypropylene construction makes it easy to handle and suitable for non-fire-critical applications such as residential or low-rise commercial schemes. The edge plate supports overhanging tiles and helps maintain alignment, improving both performance and finish at the paving boundary.
Polypropylene edge plate for Universal, Megapad, Mega Balance and fixed height paving pads.
Creates gap between paving and parapet/upstand.
