Plafotherm® GK HEKDA

Description

The HEKDA profile is based on the form of a standard ceiling profile according to DIN and melts together with the substructure as a constructive element and is screwed to the plasterboard panel. The installation distances can be chosen variably depending on the size and type of panel. Consequently it can evade the ceiling fixtures and the inspection openings.

System comprises:

  • Panelling.
  • Heating and cooling coil: Consisting of heat conducting profile and pipe fret for direct screwing to panelling.
  • Vernier suspension: Manufactured from zinc-galvanized steel, consisting of hanger upper section, hanger lower section, and safety split pins which are variably adjustable for suspension of suspension channel grid.
  • Suspension channel: Manufactured from zinc-galvanized steel, executed as secondary grid construction as a basis for the support of heat conducting profiles.
  • Armature channel: Manufactured from zinc-galvanized steel to connect the heat conducting profile with the suspension channel.

Hydraulic connection:

The individual heated and chilled ceilings are connected in series (heating and cooling zones) until a pressure loss of approximately 25–30 kPa is achieved. The individual heating and cooling zones are connected parallel to the distribution pipe (regulation zone).

Aluminium extruded section according to DIN EN 12020, width 150 or 250 mm, length from 500–5000 mm.

Pipe fret:

Cu-pipe calibrated and shaped as a fret.

Perforation:

Six standard perforations available. Other perforations available on request. Consult manufacturer for perforation patterns.
