Performance Sliding Sash Window - Tatra - Sustainable Timber Windows

The Tatra performance sliding sash window was designed around triple glazed vacuum glass. This unit is considerably thinner than effective triple or quadruple glazing units, which replicates the style and sections of a traditional British sliding sash window, while also achieving extreme energy efficiency. A highly traditional beading detail is incorporated to give the windows and doors a classically styled appearance.

Constructed from FSC-Certified Accoya® with a proprietary vacuum cavity unit and a specially adapted Italian paint system the range combines energy efficiency and an extended low maintenance service life into a well-designed package suitable for most styles of building.

• Vacuum cavity glazing combined into a proprietary triple glazed unit, delivering centre pane U-values of 0.4 W/m²K. Thinner unit allows for more traditional window dimensions and better aesthetics.
• Manufactured from Accoya, the best longevity of any timber together with exceptional energy efficiency.
• Patented SashSealer technology delivering the only Class 4 Air Permeability, traditional sliding sash window on the market. Weights and pulley window has proprietary pocket seal to reduce draughts through the sash pulleys.
• Fully concealed trickle ventilation through the head of the frame is invisible on the internal or external face of the product.
• Traditional horn detailing to the top sash as standard. Options to have variation on the horn detail, or to add a horn to the bottom sash. External staff bead detail on the outer lining for traditional appearance.
• All traditional shapes and sizes are available including curved heads, curved top rail of top sash and double or triple coupled sashes.
• Slender 22 mm glazing bars and thin profile of the beading reduce the perceived width of the sections. External bar designed to replicate the traditional appearance of putty pointing.
• Traditional ironmongery is included with a range of finishes. This includes angel sash limiters and recessed finger pulls as standard.
