Parklet

The parklet system features modular structures which allow a variety of different uses including seating areas, cycle parking and decorative planting. The units allow for total flexibility; either the configurations can be changed, or the parklet extended, as sites develop.

One way to expand spaces is the installation of streetside Parklets to allow for segregated areas for outdoor dining or seating.

Using clear PETg screening also allows for the seating area to be separated from the roadside, providing a barrier between customers and other road users.

The system includes a galvanised steel frame base with hardwood anti-slip decking, galvanised steel framed planters with hardwood or softwood slats and PET screens.

Features and benefits:

• Base framework is galvanised only.
• Planter framework is galvanised and coated Black RAL 9005 as standard. Other BS/RAL colours are available on request.
• By not requiring a concrete base, the need for expensive groundworks and permanent installations is eliminated, allowing each parklet to be moved to different locations.
• The flexible nature of these systems allows for quick assembly and a more cost-effective way for improvements to towns and cities.
• Options include creating branded external dining spaces surrounded by natural foliage to contained on-street picnic spaces.
