Optical Smoke, Heat , and Infrared Multi-Criteria Detection

The Series 200 Advanced range incorporates the digital Series 200 Advanced Protocol, supporting increased device capacity per loop with extended control, configurability, and device management. The multi-criteria, multi-sensor photo thermal infrared (PTIR) detector integrates photoelectric, thermal, and infrared sensing elements to provide fast response to flaming fires while minimising false alarms. Embedded software continuously monitors the three sensing elements and dynamically adjusts sensor thresholds, gain, time delays, sampling rates, averaging, and combinations. In the event of sensor failure, the program modifies the sensitivity of remaining sensors and signals a fault condition. Sensitivity thresholds of each element are adjustable via the control panel to accommodate changing area usage. Two integral tri-colour LEDs provide 360° visual status indication and are programmable for static or pulsing red, amber, and green signals.

The detector complies with WEEE and RoHS requirements and is mechanically and electrically backwards compatible with Series 200 plus devices.
