Application

The OBEX CORTEX 0230FR is suitable for internal use to increase airtightness, improve moisture management and energy efficiency.

The OBEX CORTEX 0230FR is bonded and sealed using the OBEX CORTEX 0825 Installation Kit which contains two rolls of OBEX CORTEX Double-Sided Tape to attach the membrane to the surface, and six rolls of OBEX CORTEX UV Facade tape to ensure the edges and overlaps are airtight.

Please consider any areas of the membrane which will be penetrated and ensure the double-sided tape is applied underneath the membrane to ensure airtightness.

A range of fire rated sealing system that is air/ vapour tight membrane. The OBEX CORTEX 0230FR VCL is an air/ vapour tight membrane which achieves a fire classification of A2-s1,d0 according to EN 13501-1. Part of the Cortex Class A Throughwall Membrane System.
