Application

The S735 Exhaust Air heat pump is installed indoors to provide heating, hot water and mechanical ventilation.


The compact indoor module, which sits within a 600mm x 600mm footprint, is the ideal solution for new-build apartments and thermally efficient houses.


The S735 allows for heat pump technology to be installed in properties where Air Source or Ground Source heat pump equivalents are not viable, and combines the benefits of heat pump technology with ventilation heat recovery to provide efficient and economical heating and hot water.


The S735 product is a recognised technology within the SAP Product Characteristics database, helping specifiers and consultants to achieve compliance with energy performance targets.

Description

The NIBE S735 is an exhaust air heat pump that uses a combination of outdoor and ventilation air as its heat source.


The complete all-in-one unit supplies ventilation (including heat recovery), space heating and hot water, offering an efficient and sustainable total solution without the need for external equipment.


With the myUplink smart home accessories, the S735 provides automatic smart ventilation based on temperature, humidity and CO2 levels, maintaining a complete indoor climate.


The NIBE S735 features an integrated centralised Mechanical Extract Ventilation (CMEV) system as standard, and can be combined with the SAM S42 accessory to create a centralised balanced supply and extract ventilation system.


Within its compact 600x600mm footprint the S735 features an integrated 180 litre stainless steel unvented hot water cylinder. For properties with a higher hot water demand the S735 can be combined with the NIBE DWS accessory to provide an additional 135 litres of storage capacity.


SAM S42 Ventilation Module

  • SAM S42 balanced ventilation module, allowing for a 4-pipe ducted extract and supply ventilation system equivalent to an MVHR.
  • SAM S42 has an integrated buffer vessel and heat exchanger to temper the incoming supply air. 
  • Includes a 3-way diverter valve and circulation pump for automatic flow control.  


DWS Hot Water Extension 

  • Additional hot water capacity for NIBE EAHP products, removing the restrictions of the integrated 180 litre storage tank.
  • The DWS accessory will provide approximately 135 litres of additional hot water capacity, making the S735 product suitable for up to 5 bedroom houses, especially when considering the 7 kW maximum output capacity.
  • DWS will be installed alongside S735 to create a total footprint of 600 x 1200 mm.

Guidance for specification option:

The S735 unit is delivered in two separate units to allow for easy installation, with a total finished product height of 2025mm. NIBE recommend that 300mm is left above the S735 unit for the connection of the ventilation ducts.


In properties where there is a restricted ceiling height the S735 product can be installed in two parts using additional accessories. Please contact NIBE for further guidance.
