Application

  • Surface repair to concrete.
  • Smoothing of concrete and mortar.
  • Damp proofing of slabs (negative pressure).
  • Damp proofing of walls (positive/ negative pressure).
  • Soffits (negative pressure).
  • Waterproofing of concrete structures such as lift pits and swimming pools.
  • Decks (positive pressure).

Can be applied by trowel in just one coat if applied in original state. If up to 40% water is added, can be applied by roller or brush in two coats (depending on the coverage).

Description

Three-component, fibre-reinforced cement/ epoxy resin that, when mixed, produces a workable mortar suitable for surface repair and surface smoothing. With the addition of up to 40% water, a paint/ slurry-like consistency can be achieved that is suitable for numerous applications, including the damp proofing of walls and slabs and the waterproofing of concrete structures.

Surface preparation is required, as is protection after application - consult manufacturer for details.

Coatings, paints and finishes can be applied up to 72 hours after the final coat of Newton 110 WAtstop has been applied.

Features and benefits:

  • Multi-purpose solution.
  • Resistant up to 9.5 bar of positive and negative pressure.
  • Excellent adhesion to the most common surfaces used in construction.
  • Solvent-free.
  • Once WATstop is dry it can be coated with plasters, skim coats, resins, glues, coatings, tiles or paints, because it also acts as an adhesion coadjuvant.
  • Suitable substrates include concrete, structural masonry, ceramic, steel, screed, ferrous metal and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
  • Guaranteed to resist weathering for up to 10 years.
