Application
Protan SE can be used in a warm roof construction over appropriate thermal insulation, such as Paratherm F foil faced polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation or mineral wool.
Protan EX-A can be used in a warm roof construction over appropriate thermal insulation, such as Paratherm G tissue faced polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation or mineral wool.
Protan G can be used in a warm ballasted roof construction over appropriate thermal insulation, such as Paratherm polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation or mineral wool (subject to loadings). Protected with stone ballast, concrete paving or green roofs.
- Suitable load bearing substrates such as timber, sheet metal or concrete.
- Suitable for new, and subject to specification, refurbishment applications.
Description
PVC single ply membrane warm roofing systems which include the following membrane options:
Protan SE:
- Protan SE is a high-quality polyester reinforced thermoplastic waterproofing membrane with high tensile and tear strength.
- Protan SE contains stabilizers, which makes the product resistant to high and low temperatures, UV-resistant and flame retardant.
Protan EX-A:
- Protan EX-A roof membrane is a high-quality polyester reinforced thermoplastic waterproofing membrane with high tensile and tear strength. The membrane is supplied with a 180 g/m² polyester fleece strongly laminated to the underside.
- Protan EX-A membrane contains stabilizers, which makes the product resistant to high and low temperatures, UV-resistant and flame retardant.
Protan G:
- Protan G in rolls is a high-quality fiberglass reinforced thermoplastic (PVC-P) waterproofing membrane mainly used for flashings, details and cover strips. Protan G is dimensionally stable, has good elongation properties and is well suited for use in both high and low temperatures. The membrane has good resistance to UV, pollution and microbes as well as being root resistant.
- Protan G membrane contains stabilizers, which makes the product resistant to high and low temperatures, UV-resistant and flame retardant.
- The membrane is loose laid over suitable substrates and can be used in a warm ballasted roof construction over appropriate thermal insulation, such as Paratherm polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation or mineral wool (subject to loadings).
