Monarfloor Tranquilt System
Description

The Monarfloor Tranquilt system reduces impact and flanking transmission within pre-cast and in-situ concrete floors in new build and refurbishment projects, by forming an isolation layer between the sub-floor and the finished screed.

Features and benefits:

  • A composite system comprising a layer of LRAC foam sealed both sides with a polyethylene membrane.
  • A one part system laid without the requirement for flanking, jointing strips or corners.
  • Designed for use with traditional sand/ cement and proprietary screeds without the need for additional polythene or waterproofing membranes.
  • When installed as part of a complete sound reduction system, Tranquilt enables a concrete floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of Part E.
  • For applications that are to be pre-completion sound tested, Tranquilt provides a quick and easy route to up to 4 cost-neutral Sustainable Home Credits.

Performance:

  • DnT,w (Part H): >52 dB.
  • DnT,w + Ctr (Part E): ≥45 dB.
  • L,nt,w (Part E): ≤62 dB.
  • L,nt,w (Part E): <61 dB.
  • Roll weight: 17.5 kg.
