Modular 2000 is an aluminium and polycarbonate glazing system which can be used at roof pitches from 10° to 90°. The interlocking design allows rapid installation. Modular 2000 Ultra has a safety rating of non-fragile Class B to ACR[M]001: 2000


Side flashings, ridge cappings, top closers, glazing bar end plates, wall plates, eaves beams, opening vents.

Standard product features

Glazing bars:

Aluminium to BS 1474. White PVC-U internal capping on Modular 2000 Express to reduce condensation risk. The Modular 2000 Ultra has an enclosed structural profile of glass reinforced polyester resin.

Pane material:

Lexan Thermoclear multi-wall UV-protected polycarbonate sheets, 16mm thick on Modular 2000 Express, 25 mm thick on Modular 2000 Ultra.

Light transmission:

  • 16 mm thick polycarbonate: Clear 82%, Bronze 31%, Opal 51%.
  • 25 mm thick polycarbonate: Clear 68%, Bronze 15%, Opal 30%.

Mill, or polyester powder coated to BS 6496 in white – other colours to order.

Spacing and Span:

  • 16 mm thick polycarbonate has a maximum bar spacing of 1005 mm and spans up to 1800 mm between supports. Maximum panel length is 6 m.
  • 25 mm thick polycarbonate has a maximum bar spacing of 1250 mm and spans up to 4500 mm between supports. Maximum panel length is 6 m.
