Standard product features

Technical characteristics:

  • Edge detail: Lay-in square edge for 24 mm grid.
  • Tile size: 600 x 600 mm.
  • Thickness: 16 mm.
  • Colour: White.
  • Light reflectance value (LRV): 85%.
  • Weight: 5.1 kg/m².
  • Thermal conductivity: 0.052–0.057 W/m·K.
  • Recycled content (maximum): 47%.
  • Edge profile: Board: Lay-in square edge for Prelude 24 mm grids.
  • Acoustic absorption (weighted sound absorption coefficient): αw = 0.60.
  • Acoustic attenuation (weighted suspended ceiling normalized level difference): Dnfw = 34 dB.

Reaction to fire:

  • Euroclass A2-s1, d0.
  • 60-minute integrity to BS 476 when tested in conjunction with mezzanine structure at 100% design load. Ceiling system contributes to fire resistance of structure (does not provide compartmentation). Consult manufacturer's technical sales team for details.

Acoustic absorption:

Weighted sound absorption coefficient (alpha w). Rating for random incidence sound absorption determined in accordance with EN ISO 11654. Measured values obtained in accordance with EN ISO 20354 are converted into octave bands, plotted on a graph and compared to a standard reference curve until a 'best fit' is obtained. The derived αw will vary between 0.00 and 1.00.

Acoustic attenuation:

Dnfw rating derived from laboratory measurement of room-to-room airborne sound insulation of suspended ceiling with plenum above. Rating determined in accordance with EN ISO 717-1 from measurements made in accordance with EN150 10848-2 over the third-octave band frequency range 100–3150 Hz.
