Description

OWAcoustic premium Mezz Pro is a 15 mm thick, 600 x 600 mm, textured, white painted, sand covered, fire resistant ceiling tile. It offers 60 minutes/ 1 hour fire resistance (REI 60) when installed as a system. It is suitable for use under a standard mezzanine construction using steel C-profiles and 38 mm floorboards. Also, it has fine needling which offers class D sound absorption and is available with a square edge. When used in conjunction with one of our OWAconstruct ceiling grids, a perimeter trim and a hanging method, the tile forms a complete suspended ceiling system.

Our ceiling grid is a strong and rigid galvanised steel tee grid. It has 38 mm high main runners which interconnect end to end and the cross tees ‘click’ into or 'hook' onto the main runner, utilising punched slots at regular centres. Also, each t-bar incorporates punched holes to accept pre-stressed galvanised steel hanging wire for installation. Alternatively, the installer can use adjustable hangers or galvanised steel angle. We engineer and manufacture our premium OWAconstruct grids for strength. Hence, the main runners, which are the primary structural profile, are 0.4mm steel to ensure a robust and rigid system. Also, the tile density prevents dust settling and marking the surface via air filtration.
