Product Options

Blade type:

Typically, timber fin profiles are supplied as single piece constructions, manufactured from rectangular ‘blanks’ up to 285 x 45 mm, thereafter laminated, engineering timber sections provide larger profiles. Consult manufacturer for further details.

Wood species:

Usually supplied from air dried ‘green’ graded timbers, where no surface staining or treatments are required. Kiln dried woods are also available where preferred, and the use of stains and other surface treatments may be needed; consult manufacturer for details.

End plate:

Timber solar shading fins are attached via stainless steel ‘floating’ pin connectors, screw fastenings or for larger profiles, high load hexagonal head coach bolts. Full support structures and fixing brackets are available to bespoke design.

Support structure:

Solinear offers a design service to provide bespoke engineered solution to latest ISO/ BS standards and codes of practise; consult manufacturer for details.
