Manufacturer guidance

Armourplan SM is a 1.2 mm thick polyester scrim reinforced membrane for mechanically fastened roofing systems on both flat and sloping roofs and is suitable for both new build and refurbishment installations.

The membrane is mechanically fastened in the overlap using IKOfix Stress Plates and IKOfix Screws into the deck

Overlaps are securely hot air welded.


Armourplan SM can also be used for ballasted systems or alternatively in adhered systems bonded using Armourplan contact adhesive or Sprayfast PCA adhesive.

Armourplan SM is also used as the upstand detailing membrane on all Armourplan SM/SG systems.


Insert width requirement: Available in three sizes: 1.06 m, 1.50 m and 2.12 m. Length: 20 m.

Mechanically fastened in accordance with IKO wind load calculation using IKOfix Fasteners and Thermally Broken Membrane Tubes.

Armourplan PVC Standing Seam Profile is a preformed profile used to simulate a metal standing seam joint.

The profile is manufactured from PVC and is hot air welded to the installed Armourplan Membrane at a layout specified by the client

Non-reinforced PVC membrane for detailing on Armourplan roof systems.

Offers excellent flexibility allowing the material to be formed easily into intricate details ensuring the roof installation is fully waterproofed. Adhered to suitable substrates using Armourplan PVC Contact Adhesive or Sprayfast PCA Adhesive.

IKO Armourplan G membrane is a glass tissue reinforced detailing PVC membrane on IKO Armourplan roof systems. The glass tissue reinforcement offers excellent dimensional stability and flexibility allowing the material to form easily into intricate details ensuring the roof installation is fully waterproofed. IKO Armourplan G Detailing PVC Membrane can be adhered to suitable detailing surfaces using IKO Armourplan PVC Contact Adhesive or IKOpro Sprayfast PCA Adhesive.
