MB-SE75 And HI Unitized Facade System
Description

The MB-SE75 unitized curtain wall offers the advantage of rapid assembly, giving the site and factory teams a distinct set of advantages. These include factory fabrication methods that allow for additional quality control, fast on-site installation without the need for expensive and time-consuming scaffolding, and both an outer and inner modern look. The product requires only limited area access, therefore the building can be refurbished in one part, with the occupants still being in the other parts.

It is capable of being used on any new construction project from two floors upward. The system is available in regular and advanced thermal insulation (HI) varieties. The latter uses special EPDM inserts to increase its insulating properties.

Features and benefits:

  • Highly aesthetic facades – individual modules, separated by narrow, 9 mm-wide joints.
  • A wide variety of openable elements in facades: Window and door systems with high thermal insulation, plus 'frameless' outward-tilted constructions.

Performance:

  • Air permeability to EN 12153:2003 and EN 12152:2004: Class AE1200.
  • Watertightness to EN 12155:2003 and EN 12154:2004: Class RE1200.
  • Impact resistance class I5/E5, EN 14019:2004.
  • Wind load resistance to EN 12179:2002 and EN 13116:2002: 2400 Pa.
  • Thermal insulation (Uf) from 1.5 W/(m²K).
  • Acoustic insulation (Rw) to 40 dB.
