Description

Marathon Dry use lockers are designed for use in dry changing areas, offering a contemporary look for modern changing area design.


Dry use lockers consist of melamine faced high density particle board bodies with screw and dowel construction.

Base, top and shelf units are from the same material with 2 mm PVC edge banding to front edges. The locker bodies are available in a variety of height combinations and widths. Door frames are constructed from extruded aluminium profiles, pre-drilled for on-site assembly.


Aluminium and stainless steel hinges engage into door frame profiles and doors have spring loading for automatic closing. Adjustments are possible for horizontal and vertical alignment of doors. Neoprene door buffers engage into aluminium profiles.


Doors and matching decorative end panels are available in toughened float glass with coloured ceramic paint finish. Doors are attached to hinges with stainless steel screws into aluminium rosettes anodized to match door frame profiles.


Features and benefits:

  • Melamine faced high density particle board with dowel and screw construction.
  • Bases, tops and shelves from the same material with 2 mm thick PVC edge banding to front edges.
  • Full width hanging rails are provided in all compartments of 900 mm high or more.
  • Concealed door frames constructed from extruded aluminium.
  • Hinges are limited to approximately 90° to prevent the doors opening across adjacent lockers.
  • A wide range of locking and access systems are available providing security, cost and operational options.
  • Door frames from extruded aluminium profiles.
  • Hinges made from aluminium and stainless steel engage into door frame profiles and are spring loading for automatic door closing. Opening is restricted to approximately 9º to prevent the doors opening across adjacent lockers and to prevent damage to keys.
  • Aluminium number plates - mechanically through fixed to aluminium back plates for increased security.
  • Locks attached by special anti-vandal screws.
  • Doors are attached to hinges using stainless steel screws into anodized aluminium rosettes with adhesive pads.
  • 10 mm toughened float or 10.76 mm toughened and laminated glass.
  • All edges of glass doors are polished with small chamfers to the corners.
  • Doors are attached to hinges using stainless steel screws into anodized aluminium rosettes with adhesive pads.
  • Special expanding nylon grommets separate the metal from the glass.

Guidance for specification option:

  • Hasp and Clasp: Machined aluminium engaged into grooves in the door frame profile, clasp is formed by machined hole in door and aluminium number plate attached to door by stainless steel through fixing into satin anodized aluminium door knob. Padlock can be supplied by client or Prospec.


Hasp and cam lock.

Guidance for specification option:

  • Hasp Cam Lock: Body chrome plated steel. Anti-rotation device, aluminium numberplate attached to the door by 316 grade stainless steel through fixing into satin anodized aluminium doorknob. Padlock can be supplied by Client or Prospec.


Kaba removable cylinder coin lock with coin refund.

  • Prospec Removable Cylinder Coin Lock with coin refund: Removable nickel-plated brass cylinder, drilled security key, mastered series with 2,000 differs. Fixed to backplate with anti tamper Torx screws. Attached to door and aluminium numberplate by stainless steel through fixings. Attached to door on aluminium number/ backplate by stainless steel through fixings. Supplied with one user key per lock, two master keys and two cylinder removal key per installation.

  • Prospec Kaba Removable Cylinder Coin Collect Lock with coin retain function: Drilled security key; unique mastered series with 10,000 differs. Fixed to backplate with anti tamper Torx screws. Attached to door and aluminium numberplate by stainless steel through fixings. Coin box with separate master key. Attached to door on aluminium numberplate by stainless steel through fixings. Supplied with two master keys and two cylinder removal key per order.



Prospec mechanical code lock.

Guidance for specification option:

  • Prospec Mechanical Code Lock. Combination lock for lockers equipped with 4 dials that allows the choice of a 4-digit numerical code by the user. Fixed combination or reset use. Attached to the door on a backplate using through fixings.


Prospec OCS.

Guidance for specification option:

  • Prospec OCS: Battery operated standalone electronic digital lock with 4-digit user selected code input, master key, management key and disabled user key option. LED indicators for lock/unlock and low battery warning, 4 AA size batteries, 10,000 cycles, deadbolt locking for security, fixed through the door with steel screws.

  • Prospec OTS: Transponder operated stand-alone lock, powered by AA batteries, 30,000 cycle's battery life. Push button to lock/ unlock operated by strap, card or Technogym key.   • Prospec OTS advanced: Transponder operated stand-alone lock, powered by AA batteries, 30,000 cycle's battery life. Push button to lock/ unlock operated by strap, card or Technogym key. Attached to the door on aluminium number / backplate by 316 grade stainless steel through fixings. Supplied with 1no user key per lock and 2no master keys per installation.
