Alkali-resistant waterproofing and anti-fracture membrane for internal use; suitable for overlaying with ceramic, porcelain and natural stone tiles and mosaics.
Application
For professional use. Can be used in wet and damp atmospheres in residential and commercial buildings, in areas such as:
- Domestic and hotel bathrooms.
- Private or commercial showers.
- Swimming pool surrounds.
Suitable for use on the following moisture sensitive substrates:
- Gypsum plaster and gypsum fibre boards.
- Calcium sulphate screeds.
- Mineral surfaces such as cement plaster, porous concrete, concrete, cement screed, and cement based panels.
Must be cut to size before being bonded.
To be used in conjunction with Mapei tile adhesives, conforming to a minimum of class C2 according to EN 12004 or ISO 13007, such as Keraquick S1 (Ultralite S1, Keraflex, Keraflex Maxi S1).
Consult manufacturer's literature for information on recommended substrate preparation and conditions not suitable for the application of this product.
Description
Alkali resistant waterproofing and decoupling membrane, consisting of a waterproof isolating sheet of polyethylene, which has been coated on both sides with a non-woven polypropylene fabric. For use under ceramic and natural stone tiles with a thin-set mortar.
