Description
Firma's single-leaf lintels are expertly fabricated from austenitic stainless steel 304 (1.4301) and are primarily designed to support brick or blockwork over door or window openings in the external leaf of brickwork. These lintels play a crucial role in the structural integrity of the masonry support strategy often in medium and high-rise buildings.
Features and benefits:
- UKCA, CE and UKNI marked.
- Designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001 quality management.
- For metalwork in contact with external brick walls, austenitic stainless steel is preferred.
- Grade 316 stainless steel is recommended for coastal areas within 500 meters of the sea or highly corrosive environments for improved durability.
- Firma offers Grade 316 stainless steel lintels on request and provides custom sizes and profiles in both grades.
